Builder’s Select Banjo
The Builder’s Select banjo is built around the elements players ask for most often — and the sound and feel I build toward day after day in the shop. A 12-inch walnut rim, wood-forward tone, clean lines, and quiet detail — brought together in one clear, settled open-back banjo.
It carries the same one-at-a-time craftsmanship as every banjo that leaves my shop — nothing rushed, nothing factory-made. It leans toward warmth and depth — the kind of voice that invites you to settle in and stay awhile.
With its hardwood tone ring and hand-mounted goatskin head, it favors wood over metal — grounded, open, and responsive. Comfortable under a relaxed hand, but strong enough to hold its own in a jam.

pricing & ordering
The Builder’s Select is priced at $4,185. An $800 deposit secures your place in my build schedule. Each banjo is built one at a time in my Nashville workshop and woven into my current queue, typically 10–14 months out. I’ll confirm your estimated build window personally after your deposit.
Domestic shipping (lower 48) is $175 and includes professional packing, insurance, and delivery. Alaska, Hawaii, and international shipping are quoted individually. Tennessee sales tax applies to local pickup.
